neurofeedback
Neurofeedback brain training is a comfortable and relaxing way to promote optimal brain function
"Two months ago I started getting Neurofeedback sessions. It's fascinating to see graphically the brain's performance on the computer, and to think about how much we take it for granted. I feel better composure, more self assured, and more inner control of my negative emotions. When this happens the outcome causes a nice impact in our daily living, making it way more relaxing and enjoyable."

The term "Neurofeedback" refers to technologies that give feedback to the brain, so that the brain can adjust and regulate. Neurofeedback relies on the principle of neuroplasticity, which is the brain's ability to change, to guide the brain toward more efficient function. Similar to going to the gym, it normally takes repetition for the brain to develop and become established in new, more effective patterns of activity.
Neurofeedback has been around since the 50's and it was developed by NASA, so there is a long history of using similar EEG based technology to help high performance. The approach has become more widely known recently as technology has advanced and become more sophisticated and available. It has a wide spectrum of uses, and can be helpful for people who struggle with attention, focus, trauma, brain injury and concussion, excellence in sport, business, academia and arts, and for those who are addressing a wide variety of mental health concerns - among other areas. |
"I did Neurofeedback when I was really young and it helped me a lot with school. I hadn't been for years until very recently when I asked Mom to bring me in for some more sessions. I find that when I do it I sleep better, I study better, I don't react as much, and I'm in a much better mood."
