Heart-Rate Variability Training

Research has shown that stress and the emotions associated with stress can have a depleting impact on the body and mind, and that heart rhythm is impacted by stress and anxiety.

Heart-Rate Variability is a form of Biofeedback that offers a graphic interface to heart rhythms.  Research has shown that stress and the emotions associated with stress can have a depleting impact on the body and mind, and that heart rhythm is impacted by stress and anxiety. 

Heart-Rate Variability Training allows us to see the impact of our thoughts and state on our heart-rhythm, and to observe the changes in our physiology when we consciously practice exercises that help to develop a state of ‘Coherence’.  Coherence state is associated with mental clarity, creativity, and resilience. As with most training experiences, repetition is beneficial and regular practice of Coherence exercises can improve self-regulation skills, enhance the body’s ability to reduce stress and support overall wellness.
